Custom Paper Packaging Factory in China
HCH Packaging supports overseas packaging projects from structural review and sampling through printing, converting, assembly, inspection and export packing. The production route is set around the approved box or bag specification rather than a generic process list.

How the production route is set for each project
Paper packaging does not follow one universal production route. The sequence is set after the structure, material, artwork, order requirement and packing method have been reviewed. A project may require prepress preparation, printing, surface treatment, lamination, die-cutting and creasing, forming, gluing, hand assembly, insert fitting, inspection and export packing.
Structural review
Finished dimensions, opening method, insert, loading sequence and packed-product clearance are reviewed before the dieline is released.
Artwork and material review
Print files, color direction, paper or board, finish locations and visible surfaces are aligned with the approved construction.
Packing review
Flat or assembled supply, insert fitting, individual protection, export cartons and destination requirements are recorded in the project scope.
Factory photography organized by production stage
The photographs below document the working environment and the process categories available for custom paper packaging. Equipment selection and the exact route remain project-specific.
Printing and color
Offset, screen and UV-capable printing directions are reviewed after the artwork, substrate, color reference and visible print areas are confirmed.

Surface finishing and sheet conversion
Lamination, foil stamping, die cutting and creasing are coordinated from the approved finish map, dieline and material specification.

Carton and rigid-box forming
Folding, gluing, board preparation, wrapping, forming and insert fitting depend on the structure and the physical sample approved for production.

Material handling and dispatch preparation
Material staging, individual protection and outer packing are reviewed against the commercial scope and destination requirements.

Production decisions that buyers should approve
- Product and requirement review
- Structure and dieline
- Material and color direction
- Physical sample
- Artwork and finish approval
- Production reference release
- Stage inspection
- Final packing review
The physical sample is a practical bridge between a drawing and production. It can be used to review dimensions, opening, closing, product fit, insert access, panel alignment and assembly sequence.
Questions to ask before placing an order
Does every project use the same production steps?
No. The route depends on structure, materials, graphics, finishes, assembly and packing. The quotation should identify the stages included for the approved design.
What should be approved before production?
Approve the dieline, material direction, artwork, finish locations, sample, packing method and any project-specific inspection criteria that affect acceptance.
Can I request a physical sample?
Sampling can be quoted to review structure, fit, opening and appearance. The type of sample should match the decisions that still need confirmation.
Plan a production-ready packaging brief
Send the product dimensions, preferred structure, material and finish direction, artwork status, order requirement, packing method and destination. The team can identify what is ready to quote and what still needs a sample or written decision.
